Self Supporting Glazing Systems

Domestic lean to conservatory or large commercial glazing installations; our self supporting glazing bar systems flexibly fit to almost any spanning distance.

The system includes a complete range of quickly and easily fit together products including wall plates, bars, heavy duty bars and variable pitch eaves beams to make up a glazing structure for any requirement. Made from a structural aluminium profile with tough, weather resistant PVC top cappings, undercladding, gaskets, end caps and fixing screws the whole self supporting range is available in a variety of lengths and colours including mahogany, rosewood, golden oak, black, woodgrain and white uPVC.

Available as main bar or universal edge bar in 2.5m to 6m lengths, each product comes with relevant glazing plastics, gaskets, end cap, fixing screws and colour coded caps, the range includes;

Variable pitch eaves beam

For fixing bars at the eaves on top of the windows at 2.5 to 30 degree angles, a flipper gasket seals the join between the glazing bars for a weather tight low pitch roofing system.

Variable pitch wallplate

Simple to install anywhere between 2.5 and 30 degrees, the wall plate screw fixes to the wall for bars to bolt onto securely. The plate can be flashed prior to roof fitting.

Universal edge bar

Used to finish the edges on lean to structures this bar is ideal for 16mm to 35mm thick glazing.

Standard bar

Our smallest and most economical bar ideal for domestic lean to conservatories or as a roof purlin on larger commercial projects, maximum span 3.15m and suitable for 16mm or 25mm polycarbonate sheets.

Heavy duty bar

For larger lean to conservatories of long span, heavy load commercial requirements, up to 4.15m span and ideal for glass units or 16mm and 25mm polycarbonate sheeting.

Super heavy duty bar

For the largest scale projects spanning up to 5.4m our super heavy duty bars are perfect for 35mm - 40mm polycarbonate sheets.
